I have long been interested in the physics and aesthetics of light and color, and photography offers a chance to play with both.

Night

Possibly my favorite time to take pictures is at night, when even the weakest light can become a significant element in composition.

Fog, smoke, and any sort of optically interesting particulates are things I've been photographing since I've had a digital camera:
